# Why should I use my unique link?

Find out what your unique link can get you if used properly.

The unique link assigned to you by [Agent.so](http://Agent.so) is more than just a web address, it's **your own special key** to receiving credit for all the people you invite to join our platform.

When you share this unique link, and someone signs up via it, [Agent.so](http://Agent.so) can recognize that these new sign-ups **are thanks to your efforts** and thus, **reward you** accordingly.

On the other hand, if you use the general link, [**www.agent.so**](http://www.agent.so), to invite people, there's, unfortunately, **no way for us to know** that it was you who did the inviting.

Without the information tied to your unique link, the system wouldn't have a way to **tie these referrals back to you**.

So remember, always use your unique link from your ambassador dashboard to invite people to join [Agent.so](http://Agent.so)!
